Global Pride in Osaka: Expo 2025 Pavilions Show Their Colors!

As Pride Month 2025 wraps up, Osaka celebrates global LGBTQ+ solidarity on display at the 2025 World Expo. As Japan’s top LGBTQ+ travel destination, we are thrilled to see this vibrant spirit of inclusion come alive at Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai.

Open since April 13, 2025 for a six-month run, Expo 2025 brings together more than 160 countries and organizations from around the world to showcase new ideas and tackle today’s biggest issues. As of July 1, the Expo has already welcomed more than 10 million visitors.

Many participating nations embraced the rainbow during Pride Month, making a bold statement of welcome and acceptance for every traveler. These affirmations reflect Osaka’s commitment to creating a truly universal and inclusive experience for all travelers. Take a look below for a glimpse at how some pavilions at Expo 2025 are showing their commitment to diversity and Pride.
