A great city to stay out and proud!

Osaka is more and more becoming a friendly and welcoming place for LGBTQ+ people, so as an openly gay man I feel more and more comfortable being out and proud as gay.

I have been living in Osaka now for just over 2 years, but I’ve been working in Osaka for 3 years. Before living here, I was visiting almost every weekend for about 6 years, so I feel I was destined to eventually live in Osaka. I used to live in Mie, and then in Hyogo, and so I was getting closer and closer to Osaka.

My favorite place is the Yamato River in south Osaka. I like running around the river.
If you don’t run, it’s a great place to ride your bike. I love it because the river is so wide and there is a long path that is just perfect on a Sunday for a run or a bike ride.
