A place I call my second HOME

I have lived in Osaka for 6 years, and sometimes I feel like I really was raised here. I am home. I don’t have to worry about my safety, and I really like the food. I miss my home country and of course there are spices and things from my home country that I can’t get here, but Osaka food is just as good and has become fun for me to try to cook. I am getting good at making niku jagga, a meat and potato stew.

I came to Japan because my mother pursued a career and has been living here. I applied for jobs in Tokyo, Nagoya, and Osaka and ended up getting hired here in Osaka. My sister lives in Japan too, but not in Osaka.

I love shopping, so one of my favorite places to go is Shinsaibashi, there are a lot of outlets and shops there. I really like going to Osaka Castle Park for skateboarding or having a picnic. I also like Nakanoshima Park, and Hamadera Park in Sakai.
